About Us
We’re Sophie and Julia, local Mosman mums passionate about our community, our kids and our environment. We know what it’s like to be time-starved parents who want to give their kids the best start and end to their school day. We designed walked.by to help parents like us and their families by providing a smarter way to get kids to school.
We’re local sustainability advocates and community leaders, with decades of experience in tech- and data-driven corporate Operations and Marketing leadership roles. We’re passionate and engaged parents with the capability and confidence to drive behaviour change for good.
Julia Edgar
I’m a data- and results-driven marketing leader driving large-scale customer acquisition initiatives across Asia and North America at companies including Amazon, HSBC and T-Mobile. My community engagement includes Queenwood School Parent Association Committee Sustainability and Communication lead; digital strategy and events lead at Green Schools Collective; volunteer and former Marketing team member for Nature Conservation Council NSW; Mosman Council volunteer.
